In Ukraine, the buyers of our machines are highly profitable enterprises, which grow vegetables, potatoes and corn. Basically, our buyers are from the Southern and Central districts.
The cost of installation and further operation of center pivot systems is less than of lateral move systems, but often buyers set their choice on the last one because farmers have ready infrastructure for using lateral machines (such as a canal, underground water supply from hydrants) or their fields are strictly limited rectangular (forest belt, etc.).

A hydraulic of "Raduga" farm (the Crimea) is telling: "We grow medicinal herbs, all of them are very demanding to moisture. We must to have the rate of irrigation - 300 mm. We bought a linear machine in 2008 as we had the infrastructure – underground mainline pipes and hydrants, which were inherited us from the USSR period. In 2010, we purchased one more lateral machine and in future we will expand the irrigated area only with their help. In our conditions, investments in irrigation are repaid within a year. "

And you can not get it because we have little rain.
