Types of irrigation systems

Reinke Company produces several types of irrigation systems

1. Center pivot systems is the most popular method of irrigation in industrial agriculture, by reason of low costs of labour and it is used for large areas and almost for all types of crops. Machines can work on slopes up to 15%. You can use Swing Arm Corner to irrigate the corners of the field. As a rule, if area of a circle is 53 m, you can use Swing Arm Corner and thereby the irrigated area will be increased to 63 hectares (if the area of a square is 64 ha). Inlet pressure is rather low, is around 2,5-3 bar. This type of irrigation is used for chemicalization (applying fertilizers through the irrigation system).

There is also a towed center pivot systems. It is usually used in the initial stage of formation irrigation projects. One machine can serve several fields, but at the same time it increases labor costs.

2. Lateral move systems. The system is popular in industrial agriculture. The systems are available as either canal feed or hose drag systems. A lateral move system can irrigate nearly 99% of any rectangular or square field. This type of irrigation is also used for chemicalization (applying fertilizers through the irrigation system).

3. Reinke irrigation system A-100
It is used in irrigated areas, which were designed to be irrigated by DDA-100 machines.

This machine does not require the constant presence of an operator, has a modern package of sprinklers as opposed to DDA-100 with a tractor. Reinke-A100 has a self-contained power unit and water pump, it's light and towed in a transport position in both directions. A farmer can tow the machine to its protected lot at the end of the season.
